Overview

Apptifi ("we," "our," or "us") operates the apptifi.com website and the Apptifi bandwidth scheduling platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our service.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you fill out our contact form or subscribe to a plan, we collect your name, work email address, company name, and any additional information you choose to include in your message.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials on our servers. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by their Privacy Policy.

API credentials. When you connect Apptifi to your Lumen IoD circuits, you provide NaaS API credentials (client ID and client secret). These credentials are encrypted at rest and are used solely to submit bandwidth orders on your behalf.

Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to collect anonymous usage data including pages visited, session duration, device type, and general geographic location. This data helps us improve the product and understand how customers use Apptifi. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the Apptifi service, process your subscription and payments, respond to your inquiries and support requests, send service-related communications (such as billing confirmations and product updates), improve the platform based on usage patterns, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Microsoft 365 data

If you use the Core + M365 Sync plan, Apptifi accesses your Microsoft 365 calendar data through the Microsoft Graph API using OAuth 2.0 authorization. We only read calendar event data necessary to synchronize bandwidth schedules. We do not access email, files, contacts, or any other Microsoft 365 data. You can revoke Apptifi's access at any time through your Microsoft 365 admin portal.

Data retention

We retain your account information and bandwidth scheduling history for the duration of your subscription. If you cancel your subscription, we will delete your data within 30 days of cancellation, unless we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months.

Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure storage of API credentials, and access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party services

Apptifi uses the following third-party services that may collect data subject to their own privacy policies: Stripe (payment processing), Google Analytics 4 (website analytics), Google Tag Manager (tag management), Formspree (contact form processing), Vercel (website hosting), and Microsoft Graph API (calendar synchronization for M365 plan users).

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics purposes (via Google Analytics) and conversion tracking (via Google Ads). These cookies help us understand website traffic and measure advertising effectiveness. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, opt out of analytics tracking, and withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
